Cynthia Weisman joined the Firm in 2016 with over twenty-five years of solid legal experience in a wide variety of cases. Before joining the Firm, she was an Assistant U.S. Attorney for over 15 years (2000-2016) in the State of New Mexico where she honed her skills in the federal court system. Her 10 years of experience as a civil litigator (both in plaintiff and defense work) made her a valuable addition to the U.S. Attorney’s Office, especially as her cases included difficult multi-district litigation and other complex lawsuits. For the Firm, Cynthia’s specialized experience in both the state and federal court systems allows her to fight for her client in any arena.
Cynthia received her Juris Doctorate from Duke University School of Law after earning a Bachelor of Social Science from Stanford University. Cynthia was admitted to practice in 1990 in the state and federal courts in New Mexico and the United States Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals.
In her spare time, Ms. Weisman is a yoga instructor and enjoys Argentine tango.
